Engine & Transmission

At the heart of this build is a C7 Corvette ZR1 LT5 6.2-liter supercharged engine producing an incredible 755 horsepower, delivering modern supercar performance in a refined, drivable package. Power is sent through a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission, giving the car an engaging, driver-focused feel that perfectly complements the LT5’s output.

Chassis

The chassis is equipped with Roadster Shop’s Fast Track suspension system, engineered to deliver exceptional handling, ride quality, and road manners. Braking is handled by a Baer braking system, providing strong, consistent stopping power to match the performance capabilities of the drivetrain.

Body Modifications

Subtle but purposeful body refinements elevate this build while maintaining a timeless appearance. All bumpers were pulled in tight to the body, sharpening the overall profile and perfecting the metalwork. The floor was strengthened, and the engine bay and firewall were smoothed for a cleaner, more refined presentation. The quarter-panel taillight area was carefully reworked to achieve a precise fit, eliminating the need for the factory rubber filler pieces. Classic chrome door handles were redesigned into a one-off version that protrudes slightly from the door, adding a unique visual signature while retaining a familiar design language.

Paint

The exterior is finished in a striking two-tone combination of Black Ice and Quarterhorse Brown, applied using the Modern Classikk by Kindig paint system and powered by Sikkens. The pairing enhances the car’s body lines and gives it a sophisticated, high-end presence that balances classic inspiration with modern execution.

Interior

Inside, the cabin blends craftsmanship with thoughtful personalization. Upholstery was completed by JS Custom Interiors using Impact Leather in the color “Slate.” As a custom touch, the Oldsmobile logo was laser-etched into the seat inserts and door panels. Modified 2006 GTO seats provide comfort and support while maintaining a factory-inspired appearance. The original steering wheel was resized to a 15-inch diameter by Koch’s, paired with an Ididit tilt steering column for improved ergonomics. The dashboard was modified to accept Dakota Digital universal gauges, while custom pedals built in-house by Kindig-it Design add a final bespoke touch to the driving environment.

Wheels & Tires

The car rides on custom wheels designed by Dave Kindig and built by EVOD, measuring 21x8 inches up front and 22x12 inches in the rear. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires were selected for their performance and grip, with sizing of 245/30R21 in front and 335/25R22 in the rear, delivering both aggressive stance and confident road handling.
